In the dynamic and complex realm of Information Technology, especially in supply chain management, mastering intricate software solutions is crucial. At IBM, I embarked on an endeavor to master the Sterling Supply Chain product portfolio, which includes the Sterling Control Tower, Sterling Transparent Supply, Sterling MRO-IO, Sterling Order Management System, and Sterling Data Transfer. This journey has been pivotal in enhancing my expertise in supply chain management technologies.

Mastering ESG Reporting with IBM Envizi Toolset at IBM

In the ever-evolving landscape of Information Technology, a key aspect that has gained immense prominence is Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting. In a rapidly changing world, businesses are increasingly recognizing the importance of sustainable practices and transparent reporting. At IBM under the Sustainability brand IBM acquisitioned Envizi, I became and still am a proficient expert in ESG reporting utilizing the powerful Envizi toolset.

Pioneering Continuous Data Protection (CDP) Solution Deployment for Nigeria's Telecom Giant

This project represented a groundbreaking achievement in the realm of data protection and management. At Veritas Technology,I did the presales effort that resulted in the sale and successful implementation of Veritas Real Time Backup, the first Continuous Data Protection (CDP) solution, to the second-largest telecommunications company in Africa for their Nigerian operation (OpCo). The comprehensive approach included presales technical presentations, a meticulous Proof of Concept (POC), an executive presentation, and a persuasive business proposal write-up.

Successful RFP Technical Sales Effort, Technical Design Leadership, and Seamless Migration for South Africa's Largest Bank

This project represents a significant achievement in Backup and Recovery solution. At Symantec,I lead the presales effort, to successfully secured a major contract with South Africa's largest bank, following a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) sales effort.I thereafer assisted in the technical design of the new solution and migration to the new solution were instrumental in this success. The project involved the meticulous coordination of migrating the bank's data protection system from Legato to Netbackup, ensuring a smooth transition and improved data security.

Network Infrastructure Upgrade

The Denel Kentron network infrastructure upgrade was a pivotal initiative aimed at modernizing the company's communication systems. As the Lead Network Engineer, I directed the transition from an outdated coaxial cable framework to an advanced Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) network, significantly elevating the network's performance to meet contemporary operational requirements.

Cisco 3600 Series Router Deployment

At Denel Kentron, In a strategic move to enhance connectivity and remote access capabilities, the deployment of Cisco 3600 series routers was undertaken at Denel Kentron. This initiative was to provide secure VPN access into the Kentron Network environment.

Checkpoint Firewall Deployment

At Denel Kentron, I had the privilege of leading the deployment of Checkpoint Firewalls at Denel Kentron. This crucial endeavor aimed to strengthen network security and ensure the protection of critical data assets. In my role as a seasoned IT professional, I oversaw the implementation of Checkpoint Firewalls and the was the Firewall administrator, contributing to a robust network defense strategy.

Deployment of Linux FTP Server for Secure File Transfer in DMZ

At Denel Kenton, I deployed a Linux FTP (File Transfer Protocol) server in the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) to facilitate secure and efficient file sharing within our organization. This strategic initiative aimed to enhance data transfer capabilities while ensuring the highest level of security.
